Serve as a trusted advisor to HRBPs and business leaders, providing guidance on compensation strategy, job evaluations, pay decisions, and policy interpretation
Partner with stakeholders to align compensation programs with business objectives, talent priorities, and organizational growth initiatives
Market Analysis & Benchmarking
Conduct comprehensive market pricing and benchmarking analyses using salary surveys and external data sources
Evaluate market trends and recommend adjustments to maintain competitive positioning within healthcare and broader industries
Compensation Design & Administration
Design, develop, and implement compensation structures including salary ranges, incentive plans, and bonus programs
Participate in annual compensation cycles (merit increases, bonus planning, and incentive administration) ensuring alignment with performance and business outcomes
Analytics & Insights
Analyze compensation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Develop clear, data-driven recommendations and present insights to leadership to inform decision-making
Governance & Compliance
Ensure compensation programs adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and governance standards
Maintain integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of compensation data
Program Management & Process Improvement
Partner with HRIS and cross-functional teams to support data management, reporting, and system enhancements
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve effectiveness of compensation programs
Communication & Education
Develop and deliver compensation-related training and materials to HR partners, leaders, and employees
Support transparent communication of compensation practices and philosophy
Special Projects
Contribute to compensation-related initiatives such as job architecture, organizational changes, or M&A integration efforts, as applicable
Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
5+ years of progressive experience in compensation analysis, program design, and advisory support
Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing methodologies, and pay practices
Requirements
Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
Experience supporting healthcare organizations or physician practice environments
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
High attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to confidentiality

The Compensation Consultant serves as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert supporting Texas Oncology (TXO) and the US Oncology Network (USON). This role partners closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to design, deliver, and administer compensation programs that are market-competitive, internally equitable, and aligned to business strategy.
As part of the broader Compensation Center of Excellence (COE), this role leverages data, market insights, and compensation best practices to influence decisions, enhance the employee value proposition, and support the attraction, retention, and development of top talent.
