ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Schedule availability for this position is approximately 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 2-3 days per week , including weekends and holidays as needed. This is anticipated to be a seasonal assignment with an expected end date of mid-September 2026 . Greets customers and offers assistance both in person and in telephone interactions. Stocks shelves, counters or tables with merchandise. Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales. Stamps, marks or tags prices on merchandise. Obtains merchandise requested by customer or receives merchandise selected by customer. Obtains information from customers for special or mail orders for merchandise. Answers customer's questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise. Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill. Accepts payments. Wraps or bag merchandise for customers. Cleans shelves, counters, or tables. Removes and sends receipts to front desk for processing. Calculates sales discount to determine price. Keeps record of sales and prepares periodic inventory of stock. Other duties may be assigned. OUTCOME The servicing of guests and members at the Kiosk Shop in an efficient and positive manner will influence the customer's perception of the company as friendly, helpful, professional and reliable, and will help generate merchandise sales. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong retail knowledge preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in English to customers, members, employees and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work in an efficient and professional manner with guests and members under limited supervision.
