Second Shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm) Bradford Construction has an opportunity for an experienced Inspector on a part-time, as-needed basis to support renovation projects with one of our clients, a NYC Public Agency. All projects will be located in New York City but could be in any borough. Roles & Responsibilities: Conduct site inspections to verify work is performed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards. Monitor construction progress, document field conditions, and prepare detailed inspection reports. Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements. Review materials, installations, and testing activities to confirm adherence to safety regulations, approved submittals, and project schedules. Minimum Requirements Minimum of six (6) years of experience in the inspection and monitoring of construction projects. Capable of providing clear, concise written and oral communication. Knowledge of NYC DOB/OSHA codes, standards, and regulations. Experience with NYC public agencies is strongly preferred. Education : Associate's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
