About the role
Quality System & Compliance - Support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the QMS in accordance with AS9100D, ISO9001, and NADCAP requirements (AC7000, AC7108,AC7110, AC7114). - Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and revision of quality documentation including SOPs, work instructions, control plans, and quality records. - Conduct and coordinate internal audits across all business units; track findings and monitor CAPA effectiveness. - Support NADCAP and regulatory audits (CAAS Part 145, FAA Part 145, EASA Part 145);prepare audit evidence packages and host auditors as required. - Monitor process and product quality metrics; analyse trends, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions using 8D, 5-Whys, or Fish bone methodologies. Inspection & Non-Conformance - Perform in-process and final quality inspections on surface finishing, plating, anodizing, NDT, and welded components. - Manage non-conforming material (NCR) process - disposition, segregation, investigation, and customer notification where required. - Review and approve Certificates of Conformance, Material Test Reports, and inspection records. - Support First Article Inspection (FAI) activities for new parts, processes, or customers. Supplier & Customer Quality - Conduct supplier quality assessments and monitor supplier performance against quality requirements. - Interface with customers on quality matters including complaints, corrective actions, and quality plan reviews. - Support new customer qualifications and customer-specific quality requirement (CSR)implementation. Team Development - Mentor and guide junior quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians on quality standards and best practices. - Assist Quality Manager in training needs analysis and delivery of quality awareness programmes. - Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications andRequirements - Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Materials, or related field). - Minimum5 years of quality engineering experience in aerospace, surface finishing, or precision manufacturing; at least 2 years in a senior role. - Working knowledge of AS9100D, NADCAP (AC7108, AC7110, AC7114), and CAAS/FAA/EASA Part 145 requirements. - Proficient in quality tools: 8D, 5-Whys, FMEA, SPC, and internal auditing. - Lead Auditor certification (ISO9001 or AS9100D) preferred. - Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with quality/ERP systems is an advantage.
