Triage and manage incoming commercial legal requests within a shared workflow or ticketing system
Gather relevant details from business stakeholders to support legal matter evaluation
Analyze requests to identify applicable legal, compliance, and policy considerations
Assist in drafting recommended guidance and solutions for review by paralegals and legal team members
Support routine legal processes and standard commercial matters
Escalate complex or high-risk issues to paralegals or senior legal staff
Maintain and update legal self-service resources and knowledge base materials
Contribute to improving intake, triage, and matter-routing processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with legal and business teams to ensure timely resolution of requests
Track and manage multiple requests simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent training
0-2+ years of experience in a legal, legal operations, or compliance-related role
Basic understanding of legal principles, regulations, and document handling processes
Experience with legal research tools and document or case management systems
Experience drafting and reviewing legal documents with attention to accuracy and compliance standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal guidance
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle ambiguity and prioritize competing requests
Customer-service mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Requirements
Experience supporting high-volume legal intake or triage workflows
Background in legal operations, commercial law, or supporting legal teams in a corporate or law firm environment
Familiarity with CRM systems or workflow/case management platforms
Demonstrated interest in technology and ability to quickly learn new tools and systems
Strong project or program management capabilities
Experience working with compliance frameworks or internal legal policies
Comfort presenting ideas or recommendations to internal stakeholders
Salary Range
