About the role
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS ENGINEER on the SUPPORT EQUIPMENT FLEET SUPPORT TEAM (FST) of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST(FRCSW). Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing senior-level engineering expertise for Test Program Set (TPS) acquisition and sustainment, in-service engineering, design and development, and life-cycle support of TPS and associated software for complex systems and subsystems; 2) Applying advanced technical knowledge of Test Program Sets (TPS) on Automated Test Equipment (ATE), such as the Consolidated Automated Support Systems Family of Testers (CASS FoT) and Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE), to provide In-Service Engineering (ISE) sustainment for the development, diagnosis, repair, and fault isolation of advanced avionics, and design and development of acquisition TPSs; 3) Overseeing multi-disciplinary teams while developing and managing budgets, forecasting resource requirements, and executing complex engineering projects to meet critical goals and major acquisition milestones; and 4) Providing authoritative engineering guidance by effectively communicating complex engineering and programmatic information to diverse audiences at all levels, mentoring and guiding engineers, presenting decisive briefings and collaborating on solutions with senior executive leadership and industry partners.
