Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have work experience that provides the general knowledge in marketing/advertising principles and practices andlatest advertising and marketing trends, sales and negotiating principles. Specialized knowledge of FSS operations and programs highly desired. Ability to select appropriate material, arrange, and composite conceptual ad layouts and maintain well-organized files is required. Knowledge of datacollection methods (e.g., focus groups, surveys, etc.) and market research analysis experience required. Knowledge of MS Office, project management principles, and graphic design as well as being enthusiastic and passionate about the field of work is a plus. Must be able to read, write,and speak in English. Must be willing to work nights or weekends as needed by the position. Must possess or be able to obtain a USFJ or Japanese Driver's license. Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 Background Investigation. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test.
