We are currently an office of 50 professionals, including 25 Cost Managers, delivering construction solutions for our diverse client base, providing a broad range of services. As a Senior Project Surveyor you will need to have experience gained within a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to either support or lead on medium to large size Healthcare, Life Sciences, Defence or Tertiary Education projects.
You will be expected to work as part of an integrated team in our Norwich office, with your role covering the whole project lifecycle from initial inception and business case development, through the design process, procurement process, site delivery, commissioning phase and defects management.
Here's what you'll do:
Provide effective support to Cost Managers, Graduates and Apprentices.
Ensures commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client's satisfaction.
Develop strong reciprocal relationships with members of the project team.
Manage the delivery of cost management outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
Provide full cost management duties to AECOM clients.
High degree of flexibility and creativity, excellent presentational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and consultants.

Here's what we're looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Degree Qualified - BSc or MSc - in construction related discipline which could include Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, Commercial Management etc.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are key.
Ability to develop long term relationships with all team members, and effectively balance people and processes.
You will ideally be a self-motivated individual from a consultancy or client organisation background with the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
Proven experience in a consulting environment/client organisation providing the full spectrum of Cost Management services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
Solid and practiced core measurement skills with experience of quantified procurement routes.
Previous experience of managing internal resources, including the training and mentoring of more junior staff members, is advantageous.
Good Understanding of contracts (JCT and NEC).
