The Materials Manager is accountable for ensuring materials ‑ related systems data integrity across Minnesota locations. This role owns governance of part setup, PFEP accuracy, inventory transactions, and master data controls to ensure the system of record accurately reflects physical inventory and material flow. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE: Systems Data Integrity & Governance Own materials ‑ related master data governance, including part setup, attributes, and transaction accuracy Serve as approval authority for new part creation and validation prior to PO placement Ensure inventory transactions accurately reflect physical movement and consumption Establish controls, audits, and standard work to maintain system ‑ to ‑ physical alignment PFEP & Material Control Define, implement, and maintain PFEP (Plan for Every Part) standards across Minnesota locations Ensure PFEP data supports proper storage, replenishment logic, and consumption triggers Partner with planning, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align PFEP with execution Inventory Accuracy & Analytics Lead cycle counting strategy, execution, and reconciliation processes Oversee inventory analyst functions, including discrepancy analysis, trend reporting, and KPI development Drive root cause analysis for inventory variances, data errors, and process breakdowns Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement Lead structured root cause evaluations and assign corrective actions to accountable owners Track closure of improvement actions and validate effectiveness Drive scalable process improvements to support increased volume, velocity, and complexity Project & Execution Leadership Project manage inventory reduction initiatives and physical disposition of obsolete or excess materials Lead material disposal, write ‑ off , and clean ‑ up efforts in alignment with finance and compliance requirements Support space optimization and congestion reduction initiatives across sites YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field is preferred Ideally 8+ years of progressive experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain operations Proven experience owning master data, inventory accuracy, and PFEP governance Technical & Functional Skills Strong understanding of ERP ‑ based inventory transactions and material master data Experience leading cycle count programs and inventory reconciliation Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Strong project management and execution discipline Have a strong understanding of multi -site network replenishment models and best practices.
