Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a healthrelated field or management; or additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered
Master's degree preferred
Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Washington
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Five years' experience in Respiratory Care
Three years of supervisory or lead capacity
BLS
Age appropriate Advanced Life Support provider certification

Position Summary
The Manager Respiratory Therapy is responsible for management of professional staff engaged in respiratory care activities and serves as a liaison for patients, medical staff and the public. The Manager is responsible for the interpretation and development of patient care standards, provision of quality health services, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, human resources and fiscal management.
Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.
