The Extrusion Operator operates and troubleshoots plant equipment, machines and lines. You will receive training to perform the daily activities associated with the specialty film production process. The starting pay for this role is $28.52 + shift differential.This is a full time role that includes competitive pay, annual bonus potential, generous paid time off, 401K with company match, retirement contribution, tuition reimbursement, parental leave and medical, dental and vision coverage (no waiting period).You must follow standard operating procedures and ensure that health, safety and compliance is your highest priority . This role allows you to learn more about our plant operations and can open the door to career opportunities with increased responsibilities.Major Responsibilities:Produce quality materials for customersOperate, maintain and shutdown production equipment ( blender, resin dryer, 4.5 extruder, take-off tower, die, slitter, trim winder and film winder)Start up and shut down equipment including pre-start up safety interlock reviewKeep machine fed with resin mixture by accurately calculating formulation, adding, blending and drying the batch resin componentsObserve and adjust process parameters in ensure proper product specificationsRecord process and product information, test samples, complete order paperworkMake quality judgments about film producedMaintain equipment, including teardown and reassembly of the extruder screw and dieWhat You OfferHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k)Performance bonusParental leave
