How you'll make a difference We are looking for an experienced Project Manager ready to step into an Associate Director role within our Perth division. In this position, you will collaborate with our talented specialists to deliver complex, multidisciplinary programs throughout Australia. You will engage with a diverse range of clients to co-create innovative solutions in sectors such as Defence, Social Infrastructure, Transport, Energy, and Water, making a meaningful impact on the outcomes we achieve. As Associate Director - Project Management, you will: Serve as a trusted client partner, build relationships, understand challenges and translate needs into actionable delivery plans across Defense, Social Infrastructure, Transport, Energy and Water. Deliver complex projects and programs to scope, schedule and budget, keeping a sharp focus on client expectations and stakeholder outcomes. Lead governance across change, quality, health, safety and risk, embedding robust controls and clear decision frameworks. Oversee multiple concurrent projects end‑to‑end, design management, procurement and tendering, contract administration, financial management, scheduling and risk, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams to achieve high‑impact results. Mentor and develop teams; strengthen governance, processes and assurance; support bids and proposals; and build long‑term client relationships. Operate with commercial acumen, prioritise effectively, resolve issues proactively and drive successful outcomes across a diverse portfolio. The qualities that help you thrive: Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, with Chartered status or a pathway towards chartership highly regarded. Minimum 10 years' industry experience, with a strong technical foundation in civil infrastructure and a genuine interest in leading multidisciplinary project delivery. Proven experience delivering projects across sectors such as mining, transport, Defence, energy transition, utilities or major infrastructure. Demonstrated capability in project management, including scope definition, budget control, program management, risk management, change control and client reporting. Strong understanding of civil engineering design delivery, including coordination across disciplines, technical review processes and interface management with clients, authorities and contractors. Confident managing complex stakeholder environments, competing priorities and project constraints while maintaining clear communication and commercial discipline. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships and represent the business professionally. Experience in consulting, design management or client-side project delivery is highly regarded. Strong leadership capability, with the ability to support, mentor and coordinate engineers, designers and project teams to deliver quality outcomes.
