Security Officer - Mount Isa

MSS Security is seeking Full-Time Security Officers to join our client mine site in Mount Isa . Local applicants are strongly encouraged to apply; however, a relocation package is also available, including flights and two weeks of paid accommodation. This position operates on a 4-on, 4-off rotating roster with 12-hour shifts. Duties include, but are not limited to: Site access control and traffic management Conduct mobile/foot patrols and vehicle/bag security inspections Organise security passes, issue/sign keys in & out and lock/unlock buildings Provide customer service, monitor radio communications, and driver behaviours Perform drug and alcohol testing Respond to incidents and complete accurate reports.

Requirements

• Full Australian Working rights
• QLD drivers' licence
• QLD Security Licence - unarmed
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Available to work on a 4-on, 4-off rotating roster
• Master Licence Number - 41299
