Part of Compass Group UK&I, ESS is the Defence, Government, and Energy services sector of Compass Group UK & Ireland. We support 250+ UK military establishments, high profile police, secure environments and government sites, along with a range of onshore and offshore facilities including platforms, drilling rigs, floatels and offices for the energy sector. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
• Support day-to-day kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
• Follow recipes, portion control, and service specifications
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a smooth service
• Represent ESS with a positive and professional approach

Requirements

• Kitchen or food preparation experience required
• A genuine passion for food and strong attention to detail
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a structured, high-volume environment

Additional Information

Location: Brunswick Camp Salary: £15.76ph Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (early & late shifts between 5am and 8pm)
