This role is designed to support client-facing advisors by developing streamlined operational workflows, providing expert technical guidance, and delivering comprehensive training programs. The goal is to ensure advisors can deliver high-value tax planning services efficiently, accurately, and with a high degree of professional confidence. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Subject Matter Expertise - 45% Case Consultation: Act as the primary internal resource for advisors encountering complex tax scenarios, providing research and strategic support. Legislative Monitoring: Track changes in federal and state tax laws, proactively communicating changes and practical application with advisors, and updating internal resources accordingly. Field Training & Professional Development - 35% Curriculum Design: Build and facilitate training modules that translate complex tax legislation into actionable advice for advisors of varying experience levels. Coaching: Provide one-on-one or group coaching sessions to help advisors identify tax planning opportunities within their existing books of business. Onboarding: Lead the technical tax onboarding for new advisors, ensuring they are proficient in the firm's specific planning philosophy and tools. Operational Support & Process Optimization - 20% Workflow Design: Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for tax planning deliverables to ensure consistency across the organization. Resource Development: Create and curate advisor-facing tools. Data Integrity: Oversee the integration of tax planning software within the broader scope of technologies to ensure seamless data flow and minimize manual entry errors. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of experience in tax planning, wealth management, or financial planning operations. CPA or Masters in Tax Knowledge of tax planning software, financial planning software and CRM systems. Exceptional ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both internal staff and client-facing scenarios.
