About the role
This position is located within the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Secure Transportation (OST), Engineering Systems and Technology Division (ESTD), Command & Control, Communications, Computers & Cyber Security Branch (C5B), Oak Ridge, TN, serving as a Program Analyst, responsible for oversight of the C5B programs. Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent in responsibility and scope to the NV-03, NQ-02 pay band or GS-12 level, providing analytical oversight and program management related to communications systems capabilities required for Agent/Convoy Operations. Specialized experience is defined as meeting two (2) of following: Experience applying qualitative and quantitative techniques for measuring effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of assigned communications program elements. Experience with Federal laws, DOE Orders, and preferably with NNSA Transportation Safeguards System (TSS) operations policies and procedures as they pertain to OST IT programs. Experience must be sufficient to plan, coordinate and evaluate OST communications systems in a fixed or mobile environment in the context of support to the OST Transportation Safeguards Program. Experience in conducting comprehensive studies, analysis and report findings which identify, communicate and resolve complex issues and problems regarding efficiency of system components.
