Must hold current Georgia EMT-I or A-EMT license and be in good standing with the State Office.
Paramedic or RN a plus.
Georgia Level II or III Instructor preferred.
Maintains familiarity with and support all accreditation standards.
Must have a valid GA Driver's license with an acceptable MVR.

Job Summary
The EMS Skills Trainer directs and evaluates all aspects of skills training instruction for EMT/Paramedic programs within the Grady EMS Academy. This position ensures that the department's mission, core values, and clinical standards of care are maintained through the education provided to students. The EMS Skills Trainer will coordinate with the Program Director for skills check off information and ensures timely and appropriate delivery of scheduled training. This position assesses student practical skills, providing positive and timely feedback.
