The Production Operator is responsible for making quality roof shingles in a high-speed manufacturing plant. The position requires a commitment to safety, quality, teamwork and reliability.
Safely operate machinery on a high-speed manufacturing line.
Ensure raw materials are fed properly.
Resolve line stoppages.
Clear equipment jams..
Ensure the quality of the finished product meets IKO standards.
Ensure the product is properly prepared for shipment.
8-hour rotating shifts are currently available.
Overtime work may be required based upon business demands.
Criminal background checks and drug screen required.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Forklift experience required.
Must be able to follow instructions.
Must be legally authorized to work in U.S.
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule.
