The Lead Procurement Analyst procures goods, materials, and services to support HMH's operations, focusing on cost, quality, and on-time delivery. This role leverages strategic sourcing techniques, supplier relationship management, and rigorous negotiation to drive savings, improve supplier performance, and align purchasing with the company's safety, innovation, and efficiency standards. Job Responsibilities Lead sourcing and procurement activities for assigned categories, including engineered components, machined parts, equipment, and indirect materials. Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier performance to identify cost reduction and deflation opportunities. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure best-value agreements while maintaining high quality and delivery standards. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to align technical and commercial requirements. Execute competitive RFQs, bids, and sourcing projects-supporting global and best-cost-country sourcing initiatives. Proactively manage and resolve supplier issues and performance gaps, escalating as needed. Maintain accurate SAP records for purchase orders, contracts, and supplier data. Ensure all purchasing activities comply with HMH's Code of Conduct, safety policies, and relevant regulations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). At least 5 years' experience in industrial or manufacturing procurement; oil & gas or energy sector preferred. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proven expertise using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and procurement analytics. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment. Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
