Warehouse Team Member II

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred .
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management skills and able to work under pressure
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing, and distribution methods
• Knowledge of state, federal, and interstate commerce regulations
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required
• Understanding of hazardous shipping laws and requirements
• Ability to operate motor vehicles and/or forklift
• Must have a clean drivers record AND meet driver qualifications requirements
• Scope Data :
• Frequent independent judgment and decision making
• Backup driver
• Operate with integrity and demonstrate a positive attitude
• Work Environment :
• Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, without assistance and occasionally lifting up to 75lbs
• Exposed to battery warehouse conditions, such as exposure to moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals
• Exposed to the hazards of the road when operating or riding in a vehicle
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required

Purpose of Job : The Warehouse Team Member II provides a well -stocked and organized warehouse and assists Route Service Managers. Must be able to deliver batteries on a regular basis. Job Components : Load and unload batteries Restock batteries Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims Operate a forklift and motor vehicle Run the Hot Shots on a timely basis as needed Fill in for NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM, as needed Collect and handle payments on account, which may include cash, checks and money orders Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to the warehouse. Follow / fulfill all driver program requirements, as specified by the manager. Other duties as requested
