Construction Control Representative

About the role

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation. About the Position: An ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction quality & safety oversight or a background in construction mgmt. Possess an in-depth knowledge of construction standards, inspections, methods, & techniques, especially as they pertain to quality assurance surveillance and control of construction operations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience for GS-11: One-year of experience which inspecting ongoing construction projects 2) identifying and reporting deficiencies related to contract specifications or drawings, and 3) preparing daily inspection reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-10).
