Requirements

  • At least 2 years in financial industry in an investment advisory position
  • Strong knowledge of products across asset classes
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Possess future oriented mindset, strive to innovate and adapt to changes
  • Strong understanding of inter-dependencies within the team and able to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain empathetic, passionate and resilient
  • Possess of regulatory license is required. (HKSI Licensing Examination Paper 1, 7 & 8)
  • Bachelor's degree in the fields of either Finance, Business, Economics or Banking

Primary Responsibility The primary role of the Investment Analyst is to work with the Investment Advisors to support the Relationship Managers in managing client portfolios. What you do Assisting with portfolio proposals, portfolio reviews, and preparation of reporting decks Facilitating trade execution and managing the entire trade life cycle, including price discovery, quotations, order taking, and execution Providing timely trade confirmations and ensuring accuracy in portfolio margins and trade fixing information Supporting business analytics and the development of IA strategy decks Coordinating weekly sales meetings with the IA and CIO teams to ensure alignment and effective communication Shadowing IAs on specific client relationships to ensure seamless service delivery and relationship management Monitoring and tracking complex trades, such as structured products and derivative knockouts, and updating clients accordingly Disseminate house views and product ideas to the RMs and FIMs, market updates and product information broadcasts to clients, thereby enhancing client engagement and satisfaction Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations and policies at all times Providing administrative support to IAs as assigned such as IA tagging, travel booking and expense claims, etc.)
