About: The Office of Air and Radiation This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements, including any requirements described in the Education section, by the closing date of this announcement. In addition to the basic entry education requirements, you must have specialized experience and/or directly related education as described below: To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as providing technical advice, recommendations or participation in the development of goals that align program and organizational unit objectives; developing and/or applying emissions inventories to support Clean Air Act implementation; and advising employees on policies and procedures. To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as providing leadership, oversight, and recommendations on theories, principles, practices, standards, and methods in environmental engineering and the physical sciences; developing and/or applying emissions inventories to support Clean Air Act implementation; and establishing or monitoring performance measures to assess team effectiveness, efficiency, and progress.
