Daily you will prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other day to day accounting tasks accurately and timely.
You will prepare assigned quarterly and annual statutory financial statements accurately and timely.
Research and follow up on account reconciliation issues and expense variances.
You will also complete ad-hoc projects and other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field required.
3+ years GL Accounting experience (Prior Insurance Accounting experience is a plus).
A strong understanding of GAAP and/or statutory accounting principles is preferred.
Prior knowledge and experience with ERP systems.
Experience working in heavy deadline driven environment.
Driven, proactive, hardworking with a desire to progress.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as with different departments within the organization.
Experience in a medium or large, fast-paced company.
Detail oriented and the ability to multi-task and manage several deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$35.94 - $47.87 Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
