School Social Worker (Child Study Team) 2026-2027

About the role

Role: The School Social Worker serves as a critical member of the school community. The Social Worker delivers and monitors high-quality, data-driven, interventions to support students in meeting and surpassing their individualized goals. The role will include providing core services to scholars and staff in prevention, consultation, intervention, and assessment. The Social Worker will work with Special Education scholars and staff; as well as General Education scholars and staff. The ideal candidate will have school experience, CST experience, and outside of school clinical experience. Requirements

• Possess a Masters in Social Work and hold a NJ Department of Education School Social Worker Certification
• Experience holding individual and group counseling with students who have emotional and/or behavioral struggles
• Experience supporting teachers in the implementation of SEL program
• At least three years of experience working with high school aged students in urban setting required
• Accessible outside of work hours for students, as needed
