Production Operator - Resource Specialist 1 Resource Specialist 2nd Shift Pay: $30.33 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour Shift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift; 3:00pm - 11:00pm Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed. Resource Specialist Structure Details: - 3 levels of Resource Specialist - List of Eligible Positions for Resource Specialist Certification o Churn Operator o HTST/Bulk Receiving o Computer Operator o Utility Batch o CIP Operator o Reworker Wages for Resource Specialist Levels - Level 1 is equal to class 5 - Level 2 is equal to new class 7 - When the bid is awarded pay will be at class 5 level unless the awardee is at level 2 then they will be paid at a class 7 rate. - Training and Qualification Time Period: Effective 6/9/2019 with the 2019 Labor Agreement, Resource Specialists need to know 4 jobs and 2 must be from the above list. This is the requirement to be considered a Level 1 Resource Specialist. - Moving to the 2nd level of pay will require Resource Specialists to know at least 6 jobs total, and 3 must be from the above list. Current Resource Learners and New Resource Specialists must be qualified as level 1 within 24 months and there is no time limit to qualify for level 2. - Resource Specialists who fail to qualify within 24 months will be reassigned following Article 13, Section 2 unless the union and the company mutually agree to extend this time frame. Required Experience and Skills: - Must be 18 years or older - 1 year or more of work experience in any industry - Basic computer and math skills - Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English - Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot - Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful Preferred Experience: - 1+ year of manufacturing work experience - Machine operation and/or forklift experience Physical Requirements: - Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds - Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements - Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment - Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present About Land O'Lakes, Inc.
