Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Design and implement new manufacturing systems and processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes. (work instructions)
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Assists in the training of less-experienced personnel by leading and training teams in lean manufacturing.
Design assembly processes (time studies, line balancing, material handling devices, material delivery systems).
Coordinates maintenance personnel in support of equipment and facility requirements.
Maintain constant communication with product engineering and timely implement any processes changes
Submit product process deviations as required
Other duties as required.
Critical Competencies
Ability to learn the fundamentals of motor assembly and testing per Regal standards.
Able to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to perform necessary processes changes as needed/requested
Willingness to learn about all product groups.
Ability to train others.
Excellent communication skills to effectively, both written and verbally, to personnel at all levels of an organization.
Operate a PC, Microsoft Office, Solidworks, Draftsite, Oracle
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar experience.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools.
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
