We are looking for a Business Development Manager - VMware to drive business growth across a defined set of partners and accounts within a specialist technology domain.
You will be responsible for developing vendor business, managing mid-sized accounts, and translating strategic objectives into actionable plans. This role focuses on increasing market share, strengthening relationships, and driving pipeline and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop mid-size accounts to drive new business and maximise growth
Increase vendor share of wallet and deliver against revenue targets
Build strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and profitability
Create tailored value propositions aligned to customer business needs
Drive pipeline development and large deal engagement
Negotiate deals, pricing, and rebates while supporting commercial strategy
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to grow market presence
Requirements
Experience in the IT industry , ideally in business development, sales, or product marketing
Good understanding of virtualisation, cloud infrastructure, and VMware solutions
Experience working with IT vendors ( VMware knowledge is a strong plus )
Proven ability to develop accounts and grow partner relationships
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently in an external-facing role
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
Fluent English and Romanian
