Lead and oversee the administration of MSc coursework programmes, including examinations, assessments, grading, dissertations, course registration, academic progress tracking and student lifecycle matters.
Supervise, guide and develop staff under his/her charge, ensuring effective workload distribution, cross-coverage, business continuity and timely completion of operational responsibilities.
Oversee the provision of administrative support and guidance to students on academic, examination, dissertation, candidature, billing and programme-related matters, including the management of enquiries, appeals and sensitive cases.
Manage MSc Programme Office finance and budget matters, including expenditure monitoring, budget utilisation, faculty payment administration and coordination of tuition fee billing-related issues with relevant University offices.
Develop and maintain Excel-based trackers, reports and dashboards; analyse operational data to identify trends, risks and process gaps; and provide management insights to support decision-making.
Lead or coordinate process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, service quality and compliance with University policies.
Build effective working relationships with Programme Directors, faculty members, students and University stakeholders, and support School-level initiatives, audits, reporting exercises and projects as required.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in academic administration, student administration, programme operations, finance-related administration or related fields.
Good understanding of student administration, academic operations, finance/budget tracking, faculty payment administration and stakeholder coordination.
Prior supervisory experience, with demonstrated ability to guide, coach and manage staff effectively, and strong communication, stakeholder management, planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Strong proficiency in Excel, including handling large datasets, formulas, pivot tables, data validation, reconciliation and reporting templates, with experience in data analytics, dashboard development, management reporting and process improvement.
Mature, responsible and service-oriented, with strong ownership, sound judgement and the ability to manage complex or sensitive matters.
Meticulous, resilient, adaptable and discreet in handling student's academic information.
Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint or similar digital tools will be an advantage.
