Controller, New Businesses

About the role

We are looking for a Controller to serve as the dedicated accounting and finance leader for all new and emerging business lines at Quince. This role owns the full end-to-end accounting function for each new segment - including financial reporting, revenue recognition, and compliance - building scalable processes from the ground up as each business line launches and grows. The Controller will partner closely with teams across the company, from product and operations to data & engineering, to ensure our financial infrastructure keeps pace with the speed of our expansion. This role will primarily focus on supporting the launch and scale of Quince Logistics Services (QLS) , our emerging B2B/logistics business line. The Controller is a true builder at heart, and will report directly to the VP of Accounting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and problem-solver who excels at standing up accounting infrastructure for novel business models, applying rigorous technical knowledge to ambiguous and fast-moving situations. They are energized by building from scratch - designing revenue recognition frameworks, establishing controls, and delivering clean financial reporting across multiple business segments simultaneously. The ideal candidate makes high-judgment decisions at speed, thrives in environments where strategy and execution are tightly linked, and holds themselves and others to an unusually high bar on behalf of Quince's customers and stakeholders. This is a highly visible and strategic role, sitting at the intersection of finance and business growth. The Controller will be instrumental in ensuring that every new venture Quince launches is underpinned by rigorous, accurate, and insightful financial management from day one.
