Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes
Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, evidence, and decision-making process
Compiles and reviews moderate to highly complex demands for repair estimates and total loss valuations and provides damage estimates via photos; demands and waivers may include damage estimates, rental bills, tow bills, diminished value claims, paid bills, receipts, car seats, etc.
Researches reasonable amounts and labor rates in the local market
Evaluates diminished value in a moderate to highly complex claim.
Conducts conferences with third-party carrier to review, negotiate, and settle moderate to highly complex demands and negotiates an agreed price with the third party.
Provides and explains moderate to highly complex estimates and subsequent settlement process
Prepares, reviews, reconciles, and triages moderate to highly complex auto demand assignment requests
Requirements
2+ years of related experience
Experience in Total Loss, Virtual Assist, QFC, and/or GHRN
Technical experience in Auto Damage and strong negotiation skills
Functional Skills:
Applies general knowledge of insurance policy, coverage, regulation, and handling of claims.
Applies general knowledge of claim processes, policies, procedures, claim systems, coverage, liability, damage estimating, and/or settlement, and adherence to applicable legal compliance standards
Applies general knowledge of analytical procedures to reconcile, manipulate, and recognize patterns of data
Applies general knowledge of standardized problem-solving and preparation of basic reports for analysis
Applies general negotiation and/or arbitration skills
Applies general conflict management and problem resolution skills in managing internal and external customer relationships
Where Will I Work?
This position is fully remote, and your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office but must be based in the United States. This position is not open to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license. If applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hire.
If required, the Hiring Manager will work with you along with the Centralized Licensing team to ensure that you are properly licensed.

Job Description
Under limited supervision, the Auto Adjuster Technical Review Consultant I is responsible for reviewing moderately complex subrogation demands from third-party carriers and waivers for estimates of damages from insureds and claimants. The individual reviews damage estimates, rental bills, tow bills, diminished value claims, etc. and contacts the third-party carrier to negotiate and settle the claim for subrogation.
