Position Summary In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, The Clinical Practice Specialist contributes professional and clinical nursing expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care to specific patient populations within the Valley Health System. The role of the Clinical Practice Specialist advances the profession of nursing and encompasses: Expert clinical practice Expert guidance and coaching of patients and families and other healthcare providers Consultation/Collaboration Research and Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Leadership (clinical, professional, and systems) * The Clinical Practice Specialist Works with staff to influence, guide, direct and develop clinical and professional nursing skills. The role requires the setting of measurable goals and objectives within a framework of current evidence-based practice to: Assist in development of optimal treatment plans Facilitate optimal outcomes for patients and their families Ensure overall continuity of care across the health system Education Master's degree required. National certification required within 2 years to complete. Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey required.
