About the role
The Field Administrator (FA) for the Service Center is a Supervisory Program Manager (Field Administrator) providing critical oversight and support to multiple divisions within the Region. To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements. To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include: Experience with motor carrier programs with emphasis on motor carrier enforcement and applicable regulations. Experience leading a multidisciplinary workforce of motor carrier personnel. Experience communicating effectively through presentations regarding motor carrier programs to convey complex and controversial decisions and issues in a cogent manner. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Leadership - Influence, motivate, and challenge others; adapt leadership styles to a variety of situations. Manages Human Resources - Plan, distribute, and monitor work assignments; evaluate work performance and provide feedback to others on their performance.
