Responsibilities

  • Log & Schedule Syncing: Build, maintain, and merge daily programming grids in Titan TV MediaStar Scheduler and reconcile them directly with the WideOrbit Traffic system for broadcast.

  • Contract Compliance: Track syndicated content rights and contract windows across platforms to ensure accuracy with contractual obligations.
  • Data Verification: Generate operational as-run templates and audit historical programming logs for billing and regulatory archives.

Requirements

  • Communication and Organization: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills; solid organization and time management in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment; detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Location Requirement: Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, an active TEGNA television market.
  • Experience: 3+ years in television programming, master control, or media traffic operations.
  • Technical Software: Mandatory, hands-on proficiency with Titan TV MediaStar Scheduler and WideOrbit Traffic systems and TEGNA's in-house tool, Pulse.
  • Desktop Applications: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel formulas, Outlook calendar management, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of FCC compliance requirements for PSIP metadata, FCC Children's Reporting requirements, and commercial timing limits.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong capability to cross-reference multiple software databases to pinpoint and correct scheduling errors.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
