MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS Main Responsibilities 1) Financial Reporting & Month-End Close ● Support the Hong Kong offi ce in fi nancial reporting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. ● Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. ● Prepare and support management accounts, schedules, and supporting documentation. ● Prepare and post journal entries under supervision, ensuring appropriate documentation and approvals. ● Support expense accruals, prepayments, and cut-off procedures to ensure accurate period-end reporting. ● Assist in monthly variance analysis, including revenue and expense analysis against budget and prior periods. ● Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including data collection and reconciliation. 2) Accounts Payable & Daily Finance Operations ● Perform end-to-end accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, payment runs, tax disbursements, and administrative payments. ● Manage vendor setup and maintenance in systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of master data. ● Prepare and process purchase orders, fi xed asset capitalization, depreciation tracking, and supplier payments. ● Review, approve, and process Travel & Entertainment (T&E) expenses, including month-end accruals and reconciliation. ● Validate key information from scanned documents and supporting invoices in accordance with internal policies. ● Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder queries, ensuring timely and accurate payment resolution. ● Ensure all AP activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements. ● Identify process gaps, maintain and update SOPs, and ensure adherence to documented procedures. ● Escalate system or processing issues to relevant technical or support teams as required. 3) Bank & Balance Sheet Reconciliations ● Perform regular bank reconciliations, investigate reconciling items, and ensure timely resolution. ● Support balance sheet account reconciliations and report status, issues, and variances to senior team members. 4) Systems, Audit & Tax Support ● Gain exposure to systems and fi nance tools (e.g. Workday, Concur), supporting daily processing and reporting activities. ● Support regulatory reporting and tax-related fi lings as required. ● Coordinate and respond to external and internal audit requests, including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation. ● Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external parties on fi nance matters. 5) Stakeholder & Global Collaboration ● Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and global teams, primarily in Hong Kong, London, and New York, to support smooth operational and reporting processes. ● Support ad hoc fi nance projects, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Additional Information ● The role will report to the Hong Kong Finance team and work under the supervision of senior fi nance staff. ● The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with Hong Kong business hours, particularly during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close periods. ● The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-border environment. Desired Skills and Experience ● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. ● Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting within the asset management industry, with a strong understanding of end-to-end accounting processes. ● Prior experience working as an in‐house accountant within a corporate environment is required (experience solely in fund administration, outsourcing, or
