About the role
As an Associate Financial Controller , you will have significant contributions in both group financial reporting and CSRD sustainability reporting included in our Annual Report. As an active member of our Sustainability Working Group , you will support operational delivery, coordination, maintenance, and continuous improvement. Your primary focus will be financial controlling , ensuring accurate, timely, consistent, and compliant group financial reporting under IFRS . You will support the Group Financial Controller in the preparation and maintenance of group accounting and consolidation, contribute to improving our reporting processes, tools, and documentation continuously and support internal controls related to group reporting. To ensure compliance with IFRS and internal group accounting policies, you will collaborate closely with local finance teams across Europe and the Nordics and interact directly with external auditors . Please note: This is a hybrid role (2-3 days per week onsite) based in Östermalm, Stockholm . In this role you will: 1. Financial Controlling: Group Reporting & Controls (IFRS) Support group accounting, consolidation, and closing activities (month-end, quarter-end, year-end) under IFRS. Perform group level controls, reconciliations, variance analysis, eliminations, and consolidation adjustments. Support external financial reporting (quarterly and annual reports). Maintain group reporting structures, templates, master data, and reporting instructions. Act as a point of contact for local finance teams on recurring group reporting matters and support audit coordination, including provided-by -client (PBC) documentation and standard audit requests. 2. Sustainability Reporting (CSRD / ESRS) Coordinate operational delivery of group sustainability reporting (CSRD, EU Taxonomy) as part of the Annual Report. Collect, validate, and compile sustainability data, and maintain templates, documentation, and recurring ESRS disclosures. What We' re Looking For We're looking for a resilient, curious, and hands-on professional with high attention to detail , who thrives in a fast-paced, process-driven environment, is a continuous learner, and can work both independently and collaboratively . Ideal candidates will bring: 3-5 years of experience as auditor or financial controller within a group or publicly-listed environment (required). Experience with accounting and tax across multiple entities (e.g. Nordics and Europe) is a plus. A strong financial and accounting foundation , including IFRS and group consolidation (required). Familiarity with group consolidation systems (e.g. AARO) is a plus. General understanding and passion in CSRD or ESRS or hands-on exposure to parts of the reporting process (required). Familiarity with sustainability or ESG platforms (e.g. Position Green) on exposure to parts of the reporting process (required).
