Position Overview
Lead the comprehensive commercial strategy for Bio-Techne's all portfolio across Greater China, focusing on Protein Science, Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT), Spatial Multi-Omics, and Diagnostic Development . Integrate high-value reagents (e.g., ELISA/antibodies/recombinant proteins) , precision instruments (e.g., automation platforms, spatial biology systems) , and raw materials to establish end-to-end customer value chain. Lead Key Account and Industrial sales teams to deeply engage in strategic accounts' R&D pipelines, ensuring sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities (Fit in Bio-Techne business model)
1. Strategic Growth & Portfolio Leadership
Solution Selling : based on the business development needs of Chinese customers, champion integrated platform solutions (e.g., antibody development + automated detection systems, spatial transcriptomics reagents + imaging platforms) targeting leading enterprises and related fast-growing enterprises (ie: CGT companies, CXO and IVD developers).
Emerging Market Capture and Development : Execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for Spatial Biology and Organoid/Cell Therapy segments, establishing KOL-driven lighthouse accounts to further establish business growth engines.
Diagnostics Expansion : Collaborate with Diagnostics Division to support IVD business penetration in local pharma/related diagnostic firms, supporting domestic regulatory needs.
2. Account Management
Strategic Account Ownership :
Guide the KA team to manage Top 30 accounts, addressing customer R&D pain points (e.g., target validation, process QC) with tailored reagent-instrument bundles.
Provide polynomial support (e.g., custom protein development, application training) for key accounts.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
R&D and Technical Alignment : Capture China-specific needs for the adaptation of local reagents/instrument (e.g., target-specific antibodies, NMPA-compliant raw materials and instrument) to strengthen the bond between customers and our brand for long term cooperation.
Marketing Synergy :
Lead advanced technical workshops (e.g., protein quantification, spatial single-cell analysis) to strengthen technical branding.
Develop vertical-focused case studies for local market (e.g., CAR-T QC solutions, CDx antibody development), expand our coverage.
Foster collaboration with pre-sales / post-sales team to ensure instrument customer success.
