Support month-end closing activities, including General Ledger close, preparation of manual journals, and adjustments to final figures in the Group Reporting tool, ensuring all key deadlines for Group and internal reporting are met.
Perform all accounting activities accurately and within set timelines, while resolving or escalating issues as needed and ensuring compliance with controls and operational effectiveness.
Analyse key Balance Sheet accounts using Blackline to ensure balances are properly reconciled and adequately supported.
Execute local statutory reporting requirements and ensure timely submission of all deliverables.
Support control remediation initiatives and actively participate in statutory, internal control, and system assurance audits.
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities, while promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
Contribute to R&A special projects and ensure timely and effective responses to ad hoc data and project requests.
Effectively manage and engage with FO and Non-FO stakeholders, building a strong end-to-end perspective across processes.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field, or professional certification, with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Working knowledge and experience in SAP are considered advantageous.
Experience in end-to-end audit and local statutory reporting is a plus.
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, including proficiency in IFRS standards.
Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while effectively prioritizing tasks.
Results-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment; resourceful and proactive in approach.
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and flexible mindset.

The Downstream Reporting & Analysis Organization is a team of over 1,000 colleagues dedicated to providing accurate, timely, and insightful analysis to support the delivery of more and cleaner energy solutions. Within this organization, our cluster of teams manages end-to-end Group and Statutory financial reporting activities for the Americas region.
The Analyst role is responsible for ensuring that all reporting activities are performed accurately, timely, and efficiently. This includes supporting closing activities and conducting financial analysis such as validating financial data, making necessary adjustments, and providing insights to support informed business decision-making.
This position reports to the R&A FAC Senior Manager within the Finance Operations (FO) Centre. The role also partners closely with FO counterparts and business stakeholders across multiple regions to deliver accurate data to group accounting and reporting systems, as well as contribute to global metrics for R&A FAC.
