Decision-making at Scopley is grounded in data and analysis, and we are seeking a deeply analytical finance professional to provide decision support for a wide breadth of strategic corporate initiatives, as Scopely's Strategic Finance Manager.
Lead complex financial analysis for all external-facing strategic initiatives
Create and own the Company's long-term financial model to support proposed business development and strategic opportunities (M&A, investments and capital structure related activity)
Perform financial due diligence on strategic and M&A activities
Interface with external stakeholders regarding the company's financial performance
Research and analyze key business drivers, trends and performance indicators benchmarking Scopely's performance versus competitors
Create new, data-driven, complex models to perform ad hoc strategic analysis regarding corporate strategy
Leverage AI to help automate and streamline financial reporting frameworks
Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience in investment banking, private equity, equity research, corporate development or strategic consulting experience is required
Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferred
Experience in gaming industry is a plus
Advanced financial modeling skills with expertise in building comprehensive three-statement financial models
The ability to effectively interact with senior leadership as well as external stakeholders
Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity
Exceptional analytical abilities and strong Excel, PowerPoint, and AI fluency, including the ability to leverage AI to enhance productivity and decision-making
