Lead and coordinate responses to DDQs, RFIs, RFPs, and other client and consultant data requests with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
Contributes to the creation and refinement of pitch books, market commentaries, and thought leadership.
Maintain and update product data across internal databases and consultant platforms.
Develop and refine Excel-based tools and templates to streamline data collection, validation, and reporting.
Identify internal and external reporting requirements and client tasks and develop scalable solutions leveraging existing databases.
Apply Python and other scripting tools to automate repetitive tasks and enhance data quality checks.
Collaborate with portfolio managers, compliance, and operations to source and verify investment data and narrative content.
Support the creation of product collateral including performance summaries, attribution analysis, and strategy overviews.
Conduct peer and industry analysis to benchmark product positioning and identify trends.
Ensure all materials meet regulatory, compliance, and brand standards.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and documentation standards.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including sales, operations, legal and compliance, risk management, marketing, and portfolio management.
Measurement of success:
Timely and accurate delivery of DDQ, RFI and RFP responses with minimal revisions.
Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets and complex product information with precision.
Development of automation tools, agents or processes that improve team efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Recognition as a reliable resource for product-related data and documentation.
Experience/Qualifications:
BA/BS required; advanced degrees or certifications, or progress towards (e.g., CFA, CAIA, MBA) is preferred.
2+ years of experience in asset management, preferably in a product, operations, or investment support role.
Familiarity with fixed income markets and investment products is a plus.

As part of the GFI group, the Product Strategy team is responsible for the development and support of Fixed Income products for Institutional and Retail clients, representing these products to internal stakeholders and existing clients and prospects, including investment consultants. Critical to the success of the Product Strategy team is the maintenance of strong relationships with the Global Client Business (GCB) groups, which are responsible for managing and developing BlackRock's client relationships, including within the wealth, institutional and consultant channels.
Position Overview
BlackRock's GFI group is seeking an Associate within the Product Strategy team to help support the Securitized Asset business. The Associate will assist in managing product-related data, respond to client due diligence requests, and work to ensure the accuracy and consistency of investment information. This role is a key part of the workflow supporting marketing and client decks, client due diligence and reporting, with a strong emphasis on data integrity, process efficiency, and analytical rigor.
The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, ranging from investment professionals to operational teams, to legal and compliance, and therefore requires a high aptitude for multi-tasking project management skills, being a skilled communicator, both written and verbal, paying attention to detail, and possessing a robust work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
