Supervisor Test Lab

About the role

The Lab Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the laboratory, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of testing and validation activities. This role leads and develops the lab team while maintaining technical excellence, compliance with standards, and timely delivery of results that support product development and customer needs. General Responsibilities - Supervises the development of our products for new and existing customers - Continuous coaching and development of team - Arranges the efficient and effective planning and organization of the activities to timely deliver product or design with highest quality - Translate customer requirements to the product test strategy and oversee design and product validation programs - Coordinates involvement in projects and problem solving outside of own direct area - Participates in identifying the next generation of growth opportunities and support the smooth integration of new product developments and plan the roll-out of new technology - Provide continuous coaching and development of team Experience / Qualifications - A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. - Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members - Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands - Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation - Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results - Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity - Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) - Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers Additional Job Description Supervises the development of products for new and existing customers Translates customer requirements into product test strategy and oversees design and product validation programs Coordinates involvement in projects and problem solving outside of own direct area Participates in identifying the next generation of growth opportunities and supports integration and rollout of new technologies What Sensata offers Sensata provides a technically strong engineering environment with exposure to sensors, high-voltage systems, and leading automotive OEMs. In this role, you will lead and manage a team responsible for test development, translating customer requirements into robust test strategies and ensuring high-quality, timely validation and delivery.
