The Sr. Associate, Strategic Sourcing , is primarily responsible for supporting procurement initiatives and supplier relationships across primary packaging and related categories. You will assist with sourcing and contract activities, conduct supplier and market analysis, and support analytical and reporting efforts to manage risk and optimize the value and resilience of the supply base. This is an onsite position based out of our Fort Worth, Texas office.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Supporting primary packaging sourcing activities , including supplier evaluations, project management, and risk assessments
Establishing and supporting supplier relationship management (SRM) processes, including performance tracking, continuous improvement, and issue resolution
Supporting contract negotiations and coordinating supplier integration plans with internal stakeholders
Monitoring market dynamics impacting material availability, capacity, and pricing
Partnering with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs, assess market trends, and define service level expectations
Preparing procurement documentation , including RFPs, RFQs, and contracts
Supporting PPV and supplier cost analysis , including tracking price changes, cost drivers, and savings opportunities
Compiling and validating data to populate PPV actuals and forecasting dashboards , ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Ensuring all procurement activities comply with internal policies, procedures, governance, and regulatory requirements
Compliance & Quality
All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring quality standards are met, and completing required training
Associates are responsible for meeting individual job requirements while contributing to organizational compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
