Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Product Manager - Technical you lead the building products and services in a growing and dynamic space. Leveraging a background in product innovation, execution, and analytics, you will identify forward thinking scalable solutions, and advocate for products across the organization. We work to develop software products that facilitate the planning, production, distribution, sales, and returns of Amazon Devices, guiding leaders and partners on strategy and prioritization.
- Lead the development of the consumer-focused product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis
- Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on customer learnings, team strategy and vision
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and software architecture, based on knowledge of customers, devices business and supply chain processes.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Partner with engineering teams and program management to deliver products
- Drive product launches including working with stakeholders and executives
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
