Contribute to GIS and geospatial solutions supporting different stages of hydropower, renewable energy, and ESIA (Environmental and Social Impact Assessment) projects
Design and optimize GIS workflows for complex spatial analyses involving hydrological, topographic, environmental, survey, and remote sensing data
Contribute to high-quality GIS services to support project needs, including Data acquisition from web services, open datasets, and commercial providers
Data validation through report review, cross-comparison, quantitative error analysis, and quality control checks
Data transformation across coordinate systems, projections, and formats
Perform remote sensing and geospatial analytics, including: Satellite and UAV imagery classification and segmentation
Change detection and temporal analysis
Application of advanced analytics or machine learning techniques where relevant
Develop maps, reports, dashboards, and web-based GIS applications to support technical teams and project stakeholders
Support field data collection and verification using GNSS equipment and UAV technologies, as required by project needs
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and support knowledge sharing within the global GIS group
Contribute to internal innovation and continuous improvement initiatives related to GIS workflows and capabilities
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Earth Sciences, Surveying, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in GIS and geospatial analysis
Strong expertise in: GIS and Web GIS technologies
Remote sensing, topographical and spatial data analysis
Coordinate systems, datums, and spatial data management
Cartography and data visualization
Hands-on experience with industry tools, such as: ESRI suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise, ArcMap, Field Maps)
Google Earth Engine and Google Earth
Global Mapper, Agisoft Metashape, or equivalent
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have) Experience working on renewable energy, hydropower, or environmental projects
Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics in a geospatial context
Knowledge of BIM and CAD workflows (e.g., Autodesk tools)
Familiarity with surveying principles and GNSS technologies
Experience with UAV flight operation and data processing
Programming skills for GIS and data analysis (e.g., Python, ArcPy, SQL)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex datasets and workflows
