Transportation Engineer - Division Manager

Requirements

• Strong leadership and division management experience
• Proven ability to oversee multiple projects and lead project managers
• Experience in transportation design and infrastructure projects

• What Qualifications You'll Need:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license for North Dakota required
• 10+ years of experience in transportation design or related infrastructure
• Experience managing teams and leading complex projects
• Strong understanding of project management principles (budgeting, scheduling, QA/QC)
• Experience working with NDDOT and/or public agency clients
• Proficiency in relevant design and production tools

What You'll Get to Do: Lead and manage the Transportation Design Division, including project managers and design staff Oversee multiple transportation design projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance Serve as a senior client contact for transportation-related work Support and drive business development efforts, including client relationships and pursuits Collaborate with leadership to grow the transportation division and expand market presence Mentor and develop staff, fostering a strong team culture and technical excellence Ensure consistent application of QA/QC processes and high-quality project delivery Balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in project oversight
