Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Location: 2808 Caroline Street Houston, TX 77004 (In-Office) Job Type: Full-Time (M-F 830am-530pm) Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour Join a Company That's Growing Fast DC Pines Roofing is looking for an organized, professional, and adaptable Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to become a key part of our team. This role is much more than answering phones. As the first point of contact for our employees, applicants, customers, and visitors, you'll help keep our office running smoothly while supporting recruiting, operations, and day-to-day administrative functions. Our office is energetic, fast-paced, and rarely quiet. On any given day, you'll be interacting with candidates, employees, managers, and visitors while helping keep multiple moving pieces organized. Minimum of 2 years previous receptionist or administrative assistant experience Strong communication and customer service skills Professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with employees, applicants, visitors, and customers Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Dependable, punctual, and reliable Comfortable using computers, email, and basic office software Ability to learn new systems and processes Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment Positive attitude and willingness to support multiple areas of the business Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee and applicant information Personal, reliable transportation and ability to work in-office Preferred Qualifications Experience assisting with hiring, onboarding, or applicant communication Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel Experience using Canva or creating basic office communications and materials Experience working in a growing or fast-paced company Ideal Candidate Enjoys helping people and creating a welcoming first impression Takes pride in staying organized and keeping things on track Works well independently while also supporting a team Adapts well to change and shifting priorities Is excited to grow with a company and take on new responsibilities as opportunities arise 401(k) 401(k) matching Insurance Options Paid time off Referral program
