About the role

Launchpad is IMC's three-day discovery program for students graduating in 2028 and beyond who are curious about a career in software engineering at a leading trading firm. Held in person at our Sydney office in October 2026, Launchpad gives you the chance to work alongside IMC software and hardware engineers as you write code, solve technical problems and explore how engineering powers trading in real time. Standout performers may be fast-tracked to receive an offer for IMC's 2027/28 Summer Internship Program. IMC is a global trading firm powered by a cutting-edge research environment and a world-class technology backbone. Since 1989, we've been a stabilizing force in financial markets, providing essential liquidity upon which market participants depend. From entering dynamic new markets to embracing disruptive technologies, and from developing an innovative research environment to diversifying our trading strategies, we dare to continuously innovate and collaborate to succeed.
