About the role
Cabrini is seeking an exceptional commercial and healthcare leader to join our Executive team as Head of Health Funding & Health Information Services . Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this pivotal leadership role is responsible for driving Cabrini's health funding strategy, leading private health fund and compensable payer partnerships, and providing strategic oversight of our Health Information Services function. Key responsibilities include: Leading Cabrini's health funding strategy, private health fund partnerships and major contract negotiations. Driving revenue performance, funding compliance, contract optimisation and sustainable financial outcomes. Providing strategic commercial insights and advice to Executive and Board stakeholders. Overseeing Health Information Services, including clinical coding, health information management and case mix optimisation. Partnering with clinical, operational and finance leaders to enhance funding outcomes and organisational performance. Leading analytics, forecasting and reporting to support data-driven decision-making. Building strong relationships with health funds and key industry stakeholders. Developing and lead a high-performing team focused on commercial excellence and continuous improvement. About You What you'll need to bring to the role: Extensive senior leadership experience in health funding, payer contracting, commercial healthcare operations or private hospital management. Strong knowledge of hospital funding models, revenue optimisation, case mix, clinical coding and Health Information Services. Proven success leading complex negotiations, managing significant revenue streams and influencing senior stakeholders. Highly developed analytical, commercial and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Experience engaging with Executive and Board-level stakeholders. Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business, health administration, health information management or a related healthcare discipline.
