Position Overview: NICU Coverage at Ebeid Children's Hospital and Bay Park L&D unit No Call Coverage required Join a team of seven Neonatologists and nine Neonatal Nurse Practitioners Average daily census: 48 patients Patients include 22 weeks gestation to post dates and birth to six months Highly preferred- 2+ years of experience in Level 3 NICU Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who has completed advanced education and clinical training beyond their initial registered nurse (RN) preparation. They play a vital role across ProMedica by providing a wide range of healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, long term disease management, and promoting health and wellness. NPs can work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, urgent care, long term care facilities, and private practices, and may specialize in areas like family medicine, pediatrics, or geriatrics.
