As our Experience Product Owner (Mobile App) you will lead the delivery, launch and ongoing optimisation of RAC's mobile app as a key channel within our digital ecosystem. RAC's digital experience strategy is centred on delivering personalised service at scale, enabled through our core digital channels - rac.com.au, myRAC (authenticated portal), and our future mobile app. This role is critical in translating RAC's app experience strategy into a tangible product - shaping not only what is built, but how the app operates as an ongoing channel with strong integration with RAC's broader service ecosystem and organisational strategy. What will you be doing? Champion the Strategy - translate the mobile app experience strategy into a clear, prioritised roadmap and a viable phased delivery plan. Lead the Product - oversee the product lifecycle from inception to launch and post-launch performance and own the end-to-end mobile app experience, including navigation, interaction patterns and use of native capabilities. Team Management - lead a multidisciplinary delivery team/s (engineering, UX, QA) to deliver high-quality app experiences. Effective Delivery - Maintain delivery momentum through effective sprint planning, sequencing and dependency management. Drive Performance, Engagement and Optimisation - work with Digital and Data Analytics to define and track channel and strategy success metrics across engagement, adoption, self-service and member experience. Stakeholder Management and Alignment - collaborate deeply with Product Owners and squads who own underlying products, services and business logic (e.g. Digital Roadside Assistance, Sales, Membership). Facilitate effective communication between squads. Develop good working relationships with other POs and work to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment on priorities. What are we looking for in you? Tertiary qualifications in a related business or IT discipline is mandatory. Experience leading digital products, with a strong focus on mobile app products (iOS and/or Android). Demonstrated success delivering and scaling consumer-facing apps that drive engagement and repeat usage. Experience leading products from early-stage strategy through to launch and ongoing optimisation. Strong understanding of mobile app ecosystems, including app store processes, ASO and release management. Experience working in Agile, cross-functional delivery environments. Experience integrating products within broader digital ecosystems (e.g. web, identity, partner platforms). What can we offer you?
